On Saturday, Dec 30, 2023, at 10:55 p.m., police were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Steeles Avenue and Tomken Road in Brampton.
During the investigation, a loaded Glock-style firearm was seized along with a magazine. The frame of the firearm was 3D printed.
Justin McLeish, an 18-year-old man from City of Brampton, was arrested and charged with the following offences-
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing Its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking
He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
