Just before 7:30 this morning, emergency crews responded to a 2-vehicle collision. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver was transported to hospital for minor injuries. Mayfield to remain closed as the investigation continues.
A 22-year-old student from India has died, and another person was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash in Caledon on Wednesday morning.
Police say the crash occurred on Mayfield Road between Creditview and Mississauga roads, just before 7:35 a.m. Two vehicles were involved, according to Peel paramedics.
The collision involved an Accura and a Jeep. The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene.
A family member identified the deceased as Dilpreet Sidhu.
