Brampton – Investigators from the 21 Division, Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrest five suspects in a stolen vehicle and recover a firearm.
On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, investigators were conducting proactive auto theft enforcement in the area of McVean Drive and Cottrelle Boulevard in Brampton. Investigators identified and located a stolen vehicle. During the investigation, a loaded firearm was found.Â
Gurgit Dosanjh, a 37-year-old man from Brampton, was charged with the following:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing There is a Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Controlled Substance

Jasvir Gill, a 37-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with the following:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing There is a Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
Xx Jagpal Singh, a 27-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with the following:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing There is a Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
Sunil Masoun, a 44-year-old man from Toronto, was charged with the following:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing There is a Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Iqbal Virk, a 31-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with the following:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing There is a Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
All individuals were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
