Toronto – One Person is dead and another man is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash in Vaughan on Tuesday morning.
The fatal collision between a car and SUV took place near Hwy 27 and Major Mackenzie Drive just after 8.30 a.m., York Regional Police said.
Vehicle crashed into light pole, trapping occupants inside, Police said.
Police say the driver of the car, a 66-year-old, was pronounced dead on scene. His passenger transported to a trauma centre with critical injuries.
No other injuries were reported and the cause of the crash is not yet known, Police said.
